Oaty Flatbread
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups warm (110 °F) water
- 2 tsp active dried yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup oats
- 1/3 cup All Bran
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Directions
- Combine warm water, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl. Cover and leave in a warm place for at least 10 minutes
- Add yeast mixture, butter, oats, All Bran and 1/2 cup of flour to Vitamix blender, and blend on low speed for a couple of minutes until well mixed
- Add remaining flour and pulse blender (~2s bursts) on high speed setting until sticky dough is formed
- Put dough in a large bowl. Cover and leave in a warm place for about 2 hours
- Spread dough on parchment paper in a large flat baking pan. Cover and leave in a warm place for about 1 hour
- Bake bread at 400 °F until browned (about 30 minutes)
