Molasses Oatmeal Waffles
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup fancy molasses
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup oil
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Heat milk and molasses in a pot over medium heat until warm to the touch.
- Place rolled oats in a large bowl and pour over milk mixture, then whisk in the remaining ingredients.
- Let batter sit for 5 minutes.
- Cook batter in waffle iron.
