Chuck Steak Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, coarsely sliced
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- oil, for frying
- Beef chuck steak (approx 2 lb)
- 1 can tomato paste (156 mL)
- 450 ml water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp HP sauce
- 1/2 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
Directions
- Fry the onions and garlic on medium heat until golden brown
- Take onion and garlic out of the pot and set aside
- Brown the beef in the pot on a medium high heat
- Add onion, garlic and remaining indgredients to the pot and heat to a low simmer
- Cover the pot and put it in the oven at 250°F
