Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients
- oil for frying
- 10 oz onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tbsp beef bouillon
- 2 tbsp corn starch (dissolve in 2 tbsp of water)
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
Directions
- Fry onion and garlic in a pot until onion is translucent
- Add ground beef and cover pot, stirring occasionally
- Cook until beef is browned, then add boiling water and beef bouillon
- Mix corn starch and water in cup until smooth then add to pot and stir
- Simmer for 15 minutes
- Add ground pepper to taste
- Stir in milk and simmer for another 5 minutes
Notes
Substitute: Replace corn starch and water with cooked potato
